St. Patrick's Day Project

It has been forever since I have posted anything!!! I have a new iPad and hope this will encourage me to post more :-)

I am so ready for the summer...for the warm weather and the ability to spend more time with my kids. I am trying to do more fun crafts with the kids on the weekends now, and hope to continue this all summer.

Today we made shamrock window clings. The kids had a great time making them and love that they are hanging on their windows now! They are quick and so easy...and best of all you only need a few supplies!

You will need:
Contact paper (it will be with the shelf lining paper)
Green tissue paper
Glitter (we only had glitter paint)
Any other "green" objects you want

Cut tissue paper into smallish pieces and have the kids place it all over the sticky side of the paper. They can't have too much!!! Add glitter and what ever else you want to your paper. When your kids are finished put a second piece of contact paper on top, sticky sides together. Have the kids press the paper as flat as possible. If you used glitter glue be careful because it might leak through the edges.

Cut out shamrocks of different sizes. If you are as in artistic as I am, print a picture of a shamrock from Microsoft Word and use it as a template. Cut out as many as you can.

Bug was so excited and wanted to count them to see how many he and Monster made.

Stick them to the window and enjoy!!!!
